KERATOCONUS EXAM

Get your vision back on track!

Do you feel your vision just can’t be corrected with glasses or contacts? You may have KERATOCONUS. Our Keratoconus exams ensure that you receive the best treatment, considering the severity of the case and your individual situation.

Depending on the severity of the condition, there are a number of options for treatment  – including scleral lenses, eyeglasses and customized soft lenses.

WHAT IS KERATOCONUS?

In short, Keratoconus is a treatable condition of the cornea – our eye’s clear front layer. In some individuals, that layer can degrade to the extent where, rather than a round surface, it becomes a conical shape – hence the name keratoCONUS! This affects how your eyes receive light and form images. Due to keratoconus, vision becomes blurry.

HAPPY PATIENTS

The Eye Geeks staff is superb! They are very friendly and welcoming. Earlier this year I was diagnosed with Keratoconus, and having Dr. Diep help me out this entire year on trying to find the right solution of scleral lenses to my eye was quite an experience. Being a first timer in wearing both soft and hard lenses, Dr. Diep truly was the best guide to me through this. If you are dealing with Keratoconus, Eye Geeks can definitely help you out with that. It may be a newer service but I can without a doubt say that I trust them with this kind of condition.

The optometrist is so friendly, suggestive, smart, caring, and overall on top of making you feel relaxed and comfortable to come back. In over 27 years, I finally switched optometrist and it takes a ton for me to find another and I’m glad I did.
